Statment of Faith

We at Uplift A Child Africa International believe that there is one God eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is God’s written revelation to man and that it is verbally inspired, authoritative and without error in the original manuscripts. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return in power and glory. We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that performs the miracle of new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, enabling them to live a godly life. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but because of sin, was alienated from God. Only through faith in Christ alone for salvation which was made possible by His death and resurrection, can that separation from God be removed and eternal life secured. Helping Ugandan Angels exists and operates to share the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. We at uplift will reflect the true hope and love of Christ to all. We believe the Bible to Be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We adopt the Bible, God’s Word, in its entirety as our complete Statement of Faith.

Our Core Values

tRUST
To develop trust among the Ugandan communities we serve we must show our devotion to them by effectively communicating our intentions and commitment through transparency, words, and actions. We must also trust that this is the work God has intended for us to do as He continues to drive our passion for Helping Ugandan Angels’ Mission.

Enlightenment
Just as the Ugandan people and children we work with enlightened us and opened our eyes, minds, and souls to our purpose in the world beyond the comfort of our day-to-day lives in Uganda , we hope to enlighten others to step outside their comfort zones and realize their ability to compassionately encourage the less fortunate to have a better life. We also hope to enlighten others about the true nature of the inspiring Ugandan people.

Courage
We seek courage as we continue growing our organization in order to care for and educate more children as well as provide financial support for more small business owners in Uganda.

Respect
Our commitment and devotion to the Ugandan people in the communities we serve, which is shown through our actions supporting our mission, helps us develop mutual respect. We are honored that we’ve been welcomed into the hearts of the people we serve in Uganda and have a profound respect for their acceptance of us in our desire to help them while we also learn valuable life lessons from them.

Compassion
Since Uplift A Child’s Founders first encountered children in Uganda, they have felt a deep compassion for the Ugandan people. This ongoing compassion drives uplit a child ’s desire to improve the lives of the Ugandans in a manner that is meaningful, respectful, effective,
